Watching highlights of F1, I’ve drawn parallels that our jobs are niche and limited like an F1 seat

• There are only typically a handful of companies that you would work at in the industry (F1 teams)

• These companies only hire a limited number for the specialisation / niche (F1 seats)

• You need the skills to excel at the role in an ultra competitive field (F1 driver)

• Thinking like this has driven me to stay on my toes, doing time in the practice simulator, visualising the racing lines and staying on top of my game
