Setback and relapse?
When the going gets tough
A few things I’m struggling with at the moment
Missed my first goal of 2024 which was to run a half marathon in under 2 hours…
The positive was that I finished, the negative was that it sucked not to be able to cross off a to-do list item
Then work got busy and I fell off the rails in routine, discipline and willpower
The setbacks are real, the relapse is potentially real too
It’s true that you are only as good as the system you’ve set in place
I need some flex in my system to allow for high pressure, high volume work situations to be given the attention it requires, but I need to eke out time for the other parts of my life which also deserve attention
Need to adjust the course, make minor tweaks to get through this period
